A talented friend just got a dream job in San Francisco, where he's moving next month. It's fantastic news for him (and for his soon-to-be employer) but I was particularly moved upon reading his essay today on how what started as the spark of a dream a few years ago has turned into reality. As he points out, adult life can be brutal on the idealistic goals we start with. Nothing's more inspiring than seeing someone push through the obstacles of daily life to get to where he's really supposed to be.
