SAGE advice

One of the great things about journalism is learning about the infinite ways there are to make the world a better place. I had the privilege of speaking with Michael Adams, director of the non-profit SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders). Hearing him speak about the work they do to make sure that people enjoy their later years with respect and dignity was very moving, and with California's Prop. 8 on the ballot tomorrow it's all the more relevant. The story is out today in the Nov/Dec issue of Stanford Magazine, with some additional material that didn't make it into the print edition.
